TUITION, FINANCIAL AID, & SCHOLARSHIPS
Investing in Your Child’s Future
We understand that choosing a high school is a big decision—and that tuition is an important part of that decision. At Althoff Catholic High School, we believe a Catholic education is an investment in your child’s future, providing a strong academic foundation, lasting values, meaningful opportunities, and a community that supports students throughout their high school journey.
We also believe finances shouldn’t stand in the way of finding the right school for your child. That’s why we work closely with families to help make an Althoff education as accessible as possible.
For Catholic families registered in a Belleville Diocese parish, your parish provides a student assessment that helps offset the cost of tuition. Families may also qualify for academic scholarships, need-based tuition assistance, and other funding opportunities.
Last school year:
- 25% of Althoff families received financial assistance
- The average need-based tuition assistance award was $1,500
- Many students also received academic scholarships and additional outside funding
Most importantly, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. Our team is here to walk you through tuition, scholarships, financial assistance, and the enrollment process, answer your questions, and help you understand the options available to your family.
If you’re considering Althoff Catholic for your child, we encourage you to start the conversation. Let us help you explore the possibilities and find a path that works for your family.
An Althoff education is an investment in who your child will become—and we’re here to help make that investment possible.
FINANCIAL AID
We are committed to helping families make an Althoff Catholic education possible. Each year, our Financial Aid application opens January 6, with a priority deadline of February 13. Families who apply by the priority deadline receive first consideration, as funding after that date is limited.
- Application Fee: $35
- Required Documents: Your 2024 (for school year 2026-27) 1040 tax form must be uploaded before your application can be verified and reviewed.
- Notification: Families who meet the priority deadline will typically receive award letters before March 1.
Even if you believe you may not qualify, we strongly encourage you to apply. Having your application on file allows us to reassess should your financial situation change before the school year begins.
Financial need is assessed through the FACTS Grant & Aid Program. To begin your application, please log in directly to FACTS.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year, a group of individuals choose to honor the legacy of their loved ones by offering scholarships to our incoming and continuing students. On average, between 20 and 30 scholarships are offered each year, depending on available funding. Scholarships are published on our website in the fall of each year with applications being made available to applied students in January. The deadline for the school year 2026-2027 is February 13.
