Our online application helps families manage both the admission as well as the enrollment process electronically. After an online application for admissions as well as the $100 application fee has been submitted, a Parent Portal is created in SchoolAdmin to assist the family in easily submitting the required documents and to track progress.
FRESHMEN
The parent portal allows you to manage all necessary documents from one place:
- Upload academic transcripts and test scores
- Send electronic teacher and principal recommendation requests
- Sign up for placement testing
- Track application progress and get reminders
Placement Testing
Our placement test for 8th graders helps us to determine course placement in most of the core subjects; English, mathematics, and social studies. The test is required for all incoming freshmen and is offered throughout the year. After an application has been submitted, the student can select a testing time through the checklist on the Parent Portal in SchoolAdmin.
Next testing times:
- May 25 9 a.m.
Registration
After the admission process has been completed, you will receive a comprehensive Enrollment Package that will include cost details as well as information on uniforms and orientation. Our guidance department will share course recommendations prior to registration and final changes can be made at the event. Students admitted after March 7 will have individual registration appointments.
TRANSFER STUDENTS
Our admission process for transfer students has been simplified to ensure a smooth and seamless transition. We accept transfer students throughout the school year and the process can be completed in as little as a few days.
Student Record Information
Prospective transfer students should upload their student record information from their current high school on the parent portal after application. The information can also be mailed to Althoff Catholic High School, 5401 W. Main Street, Belleville, IL 62226 or sent by email to admissions@althoffcatholic.org. This information must include transcripts, test scores, and any other pertinent information including, but not limited to - attendance records, discipline records, physical, and immunization records.
Meeting With Principal
Once Althoff Catholic receives your student record information, a virtual or in-person meeting will be scheduled between the prospective transfer student, their family, Director of Admissions, and the Principal. An admission decision will be given during this meeting.
Registration
Our goal is to help our transfer students join our Crusader family as quickly as possible. After the admission process has been completed, you will immediately meet with our guidance department to discuss your graduation plan and your coursework for the school year. Our guidance department will prepare a transfer guide for you that outlines the graduation requirements and your progress.
