THE FUTURE IS YOU!

Our mission at Althoff High School is that we are called by Jesus Christ to educate young people, in the Catholic tradition, to lead successful, faith-filled lives. Our vision for generations to come, is that Althoff High School will be a vibrant, Christ-centered community for young men and women. We will be the school of choice for families who know that academic rigor and faith formation in a small, family-like environment, right here in our own community, is what is best for their child. To accomplish this vision and mission, we rely on the support of our community partners, families, and foundations.

Explore the many ways that you can support the students and staff at Althoff Catholic High School to stay spiritually and fiscally strong.

Althoff Catholic High School
today
Althoff Catholic High School is proud to announce the hiring of Joe Bauer as our new School Counselor. A proud graduate of Althoff Catholic High School, Joe brings more than 25 years of experience in education, mentorship, coaching, and student development. Most recently, he served as a Social Studies teacher at O’Fallon Township High School from 2000-2026, where he taught United States History, American Civil War, and 1960’s in America. Throughout his career, Joe has been recognized for building strong relationships with students and helping young people grow academically, personally, and socially. Joe earned his Bachelor of Science in History from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and later completed a Master of Science in Kinesiology/Sports Management from SIUE. He also completed Educational Administration coursework at McKendree University. Joe’s passion for working with students, combined with his lifelong commitment to education and mentorship, makes him an outstanding addition to the Althoff Catholic community. We are excited to welcome him home and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our students and families. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Joe Bauer to Althoff Catholic High School. “Every journey takes us into the world, but the greatest journey brings us back to where we belong.Coming home is the ultimate full circle and Althoff is that home for me. The lessons learned and friendships made while at Althoff in what seems a lifetime ago are still the foundation of who I am personally and professionally. I look forward to helping others begin their own journey as I start to wind mine down back where it all began.”
