Part-Time Custodian

Althoff Catholic is seeking a dependable individual interested in a part-time evening custodial position.  This position is responsible for general care and cleaning of the school.  Custodians will work consistently to provide a clean, hazard-free, and safe environment for staff and students.

This position is approximately 25-30 hrs per week.  Interested applicants should stop by the main office to obtain an employment application.  

Special Events Coordinator

Althoff Catholic currently has an opening for a Special Events Coordinator.  This is a full-time position.  Hours will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. 

The Special Events Coordinator at Althoff Catholic High School is responsible for effectively supporting our mission through logistical oversight, execution, and evaluation of fundraising/cultivation events.   

Special Events:
  • Responsible for planning and coordination of multiple events over a 12- month timeline
  • Manage timelines and oversee budgets
  • Coordination of mailings, and further support outreach
  • Oversee the Special Events Committee
  • Cultivate, manage, support, and track volunteer efforts
  • Track event outcomes and satisfaction levels using post-event surveys
  • Solicitation for donations and coordination of the Annual Gala
  • Support marketing, social media, and public relations efforts
  • Support the management of and posting to social media accounts
  • Serve as staff liaison for Parents and Friends Association
  • Assist other departments with Althoff sponsored events and fundraisers
Development Coordination:
  • Utilize donor database (eTapestry) for tracking events, reporting, mailings, and donations
  • Assists in the acquisition of new donors and stewarding current donors to increase retention
  • Manage all aspects of in-kind donation solicitation and recognition for the advancement of Althoff and volunteer-related initiatives
Education/Experience:
  • Associate Degree preferred but not required.  Experience in non-profit event planning and exceptional customer service is required.
Essential Required Skills:
  • High degree of professionalism and personal motivation
  • Understanding of fundraising best practices and strategies
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, donors, and volunteers
  • Highly organized, task-orientated, and exceptional critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Efficient planner, able to manage time and multiple concurrent tasks
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and high skill level on PC, iPads, and database applications.
