Leadership Change in Althoff Catholic Admissions Office

Jeffers Returns to College Admissions

After nearly three years as Director of Admissions, Ali Jeffers has made the decision to return to the college admissions world. For Ali, the decision to leave Althoff is a bittersweet one. “From working with prospective families to being the advisor for the Student Ambassador organization, I have truly loved my time at Althoff Catholic and will miss everyone.” Ali’s new position as a regional college admissions representative will afford her more flexibility and time with her family. “Ali established a very strong foundation for our admissions process during her time with us. We will all miss Ali’s bubbly, friendly personality and we greatly appreciate all she did for us,” said Principal Dave Harris.

Haukapp Assumes Role on July 9th

Lauren Haukapp will assume the role of Director of Admissions on July 9, 2018. Lauren is no stranger to many in the Althoff Catholic community. In the 2016-2017 academic year, Lauren was a member of the Advancement Office staff, having had the opportunity to work closely with Ali Jeffers on several admissions related activities. “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Lauren Haukapp back to our team,” said Dave Harris. “Lauren is a dynamic young professional with an impressive resume and an unparalleled work ethic. I know she will bring creativity, enthusiasm and outstanding results to her new role.”

As a resident of Clinton County, Lauren is a graduate of Mater Dei Catholic High School. Her family has strong ties to Belleville area Catholic schools with her mother and uncle graduating from Althoff Catholic in 1985 and 1988 respectively, and her grandparents being alums of Cathedral High School and Notre Dame Academy. Lauren earned both her undergraduate degree and her Master of Business Administration from McKendree University.

“I am excited to rejoin the team at Althoff Catholic High School,” said Lauren Haukapp. “Building on the strong foundation Ali created, I am eager to get to know our incoming freshmen and their families and to work with grade school families as they plan for high school. It is such an exciting time to be a Crusader!”

Join us in wishing Ali well and welcoming Lauren back to our school.
