Boys varsity defeated Mater Dei 29-11. This victory was par of an exceptional team effort by Anson Smith, Connor Reyes, Will Wise, Tyler Blair and Zach Leshikar.  Kudos to Dominic Bouc who rolled a career high 182 to lead the boys JV to victory!

Varsity boys bowling team defeated Gibault on Friday afternoon, 27-13.  They were led by Zach Leshikar with a 659 series and Connor Reyes with a 618 series.

Crusader Boys Bowling started off strong this year. Every member of the team had at least one 200+ game and jus tmissed placing in the silver division. Zach Leshikar placed 2nd for high game of 277 and 1st place for high series of 1,414.

Good luck to Cam Sadler who will be running at State in Cross Country.  He is the first boy in ACHS history to advance to the State Meet and this season alone he has broken the school record for 5K and 3 miles.

Congrats to the Math Athletes on their last competition:

Freshmen Regan Moody tied for 7th place and Jayda Eiland placed 4th.  Sophomore Matthew Feder placed 4th. Juniors Carol Amorado placed 8th and Ethan Werner placed 7th. Seniors Michal Miller placed 8th and Elise Conrad placed 6th. Althoff Catholic finished in 3rd place overall in the division with a total of 469 points.  They were a close 2nd place which went to Freeburg with 476 points.

Lost and Found: Black glasses found in the parking lot, a pair of black gloves were found on the soccer bus, an iPad case was found, a calculator was found and a lunch box left in study hall yesterday morning.

Our next door neighbor, St. Henry's Daycare will be selling candy bars on Monday, October 29th during Virtue Period.  The pre-school students will be going from classroom to classroom selling the candy bars for $1.00.  If you would like to help them by purchasing a candy bar, they will be $1.00 per candy bar.

If you would like to help with the LUKE 18 Retreat in March, please see Mrs. Schaefer.

Student council members: There will be a meeting on Wednesday, October 24th at 8:40 in Room 209.  All members are expected to attend.

The first scholar bowl practice will be tomorrow right after school in Room 215.  If you cannot make it, please inform Mrs. Orlet.

Boys interested in bowling: Tryouts will be next week, October 22-24, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at St. Clair Bowl at 3:30 PM.

Crusader Cru: Come support your teams!  Congratulations to the boys soccer team for winning the sectional on Saturday.  The boys will play in the super sectional tomorrow evening at 7:00 PM against Quincy Notre Dame.  There will be a fan bus if we get enough students to ride.  The bus will leave at 4:00 PM.  You must sign up by 2:00 PM today in the office.  The cost will be $5.

The girls volleyball team will play here tomorrow at 5:30 PM for the first game of regionals.

Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams that both placed 4th in regionals last weekend.
